President Trump hit the nail on the head during the last debate. He said words to the effect, “Joe, you’re not smart.”
As if to prove the President’s point, later during the debate, after his pre-debate stimulant medication probably wore off, Joe called the President of the United States a clown.
Even NBC’s anchor Lester Holt thought that was over the top. Joe said he regretted that remark and should have used the adjective “clownish” in he how described the President’s behavior.
Joe’s own clownish supporters and handlers know that he isn’t particularly smart. For example, when it comes to convincing Black voters they should vote for him, Biden hasn’t done that well at all.
Take his latest gaffe, Biden made an off-the-cuff remark before a roundtable discussion with veterans group last week. Joe was trying to explain how he could be so negative about the state of his country, but otherwise so very, very optimistic.
Biden said that he was “more optimistic…than I’ve ever been in my career.” As his handlers probably tried to get him to quit while he was swimming in warm waters of political pablum, Joe blew it.
Joe said he was so optimistic because “the American public, the blinders have been taken off. They’ve all of a sudden seen a hell of a lot clearer. They’re saying, ‘Jeez, the reason I was able to stay sequestered in my home is because some Black woman was able to stack the grocery shelf…”
To Joe Biden Black women are only good for working in a grocery store. They keep wealthy, liberal elites like him safe during deadly pandemic. Got it, thanks for clearing that up Joe.
If this was the only eyebrow raising statement Sleepy Joe had ever made we might be able to look past it. But it’s not. Joe’s entire history is littered with racist, creepy, xenophobic comments like this that tell us how he feels about black and brown people.
“You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking.” (Actual Biden quote.)
“Unlike the African-American community… the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community.” (Actual Biden quote.)
“Poor kids are just as bright as white kids.” (Actual Biden quote.)
Then there was Biden’s infamously condescending comment to a black radio show host, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”
Joe Biden has been this way for his entire career, for those who don’t know. These are not gaffes. This is how Joe Biden views the world and how he views black people. Biden wants to sound woke and sensitive, but he just doesn’t get it. His superannuated and baked in prejudices and stereotypes surface as his inarticulate condescending word-salad paints his addled brain into a corner.
The Trump campaign has not written off the African American vote, though. Trump is expected to get 8-15% of their votes, the highest percentage for a Republican candidate in fifty years. While Joe Biden goes out of his way to demonstrate that he and his Democrat establishment take the Black vote for granted, President Trump has actually done things that could convince more Black voters that they are far better off today than they were four years ago. That was when and unqualified and do-nothing Barack Obama actually worsened the country’s lingering racial divide.
So, yes, Democrats. Your candidate Joe Biden is not smart. Even his old boss Barack once warned others about his former Vice President’s “ability to f*ck things up.”
So far, that observation has been pretty much solid.
