The first week of September 2020 was quite possibly the best week on record during the Trump presidency. Naturally, instead of factually reporting on president’s phenomenal job, the fake news media focused on a fake news story that claimed – inexplicably – that President Trump had said mean things about America’s fallen war heroes in a story based entirely on “anonymous sources.” That story was so false that event the Trump-hating John Bolton debunked it.
Since the fake news media won’t tell you about it, here is how President Donald Trump made the world and especially America a better place last week.
It’s literally impossible to talk about President Trump without mentioning the American economy. Unless, of course, you’re a fake news media hack, in which case the economy is never to be mentioned. The August jobs report came out last week, and the numbers were incredible.
America added 1.4 million new jobs over the month. That’s 1.4 million Americans who chose the dignity of work over sucking off the taxpayers’ melons for another month with the bloated unemployment package. (Yeah. I said it.) That’s 1.4 million new jobs added… during a pandemic.
The unemployment rate in July, due to the Democrat Party’s prolonged shutdowns in blue-run sidewalk-manure states, was at 10.2%. Last week we learned that the unemployment rate fell by nearly 2%, to 8.4%. That’s the largest single-month drop in the unemployment rate in the entire history of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that the economy is still a bit shaky. You might drive around your town and look at all of the businesses that are permanently shuttered because of the Democrat Party’s election-year “SCIENCE” that forced healthy young people to quarantine themselves to prevent the spread of a mostly-benign Chinese bioweapon that oddly doesn’t impact children much at all. You’re probably thinking something like the following when you drive around:
“Things still feel pretty terrible. Just in a sluggish, the-economy-still-feels-sluggish-and-terrible sort of way. Yet despite that sluggishness and terribleness, I feel sort of optimistic about the economy right now. Plus, this terrible and sluggish economy feels… oddly familiar right now.”
The reason for that familiar feeling is because right now, we are living temporarily under the entire 8-year economy that was managed by Barack Obama and Joe Biden. And they didn’t even have a pandemic to deal with!
During Barack Obama’s first four-year term in office, the annual average unemployment rate was 9.0%. After leading the American economy back to 8.4% unemployment in August (and still climbing!), President Trump has brought us back to a slightly better economy that we had all gotten used to living in under Obama/Biden.
The economy truly is a bit awful right now. But just remember – this is what it was always like with Obama and Biden running the show!
The unemployment rate magically plummeted down to 4.5% during Obama’s second term in office. That was when Obama directed the Bureau of Labor Statistics to suddenly stop counting Americans who lost all hope of ever finding a job again and dropped out of job hunting forever. Or at least until you-know-who was elected in 2016. Obama could write his next $50 million book on the subject and call it “How to Magically Cut the Unemployment Numbers in Half with ONE WEIRD TRICK!” But before he could do that, Obama would have to stop stalling on the last book that he took millions of dollars to write and somehow still hasn’t finished. Low energy, probably.
But even with those big stories, President Trump still wasn’t done last week! On Thursday, the administration announced the first peace agreement between Serbia and Kosovo. You know, the region in the Balkans that’s been at war since 1991, and which the media hasn’t mentioned in the years since Bill Clinton’s fake peace agreement there didn’t stick.
As part of the deal, Serbia now becomes the second Islamic country in the world – thanks to the Trump administration – to officially recognize the fact that Israel has a right to exist as a real country on the map. They’ll also be moving their embassy there.
1.4 million new jobs, a 2% drop in the unemployment rate and a historic peace agreement between two countries that have never gotten along. No biggie. Please, mainstream media, tell us some more made-up stories about Trump dissing the troops.
