Adam Schiff Knew about Reports of Russian Bounties on U.S. Soldiers

Adam Schiff is a gift that keeps on giving. He’s like a demented Chucky hand puppet operated by Nancy Pelosi. Pull the string on Chucky’s neck and hear the latest Democrat anti-Trump talking point come out.

The latest would be the absurd charge that President Trump knew that Russians were paying a bounty to Taliban terrorists to kill U.S. soldiers and he did nothing.

That charge is as unbelievable as Adam Schiff actually saying anything positive about President Trump. The believable part is that Schiff and his Trump-hating cult of Democrats always accuse the President of what they do themselves.

During a recent news conference, Adam Schiff pontificated, “I find it inexplicable in light of these very public allegations that the president hasn’t come before the country and assured the American people that he will get to the bottom of whether Russians are putting a bounty on the heads of American troops.”

Fortunately, for those who prefer the truth, there are reports published by news organizations that don’t hate Trump that prompted Schiff to shut up and skulk away from his latest train wreck. According to reliable inside sources, Adam Schiff and his Select Committee on Intelligence received their own briefing during February on the alleged Taliban bounties.

But he took no action.

At the time Schiff could have moved on the intelligence, briefed the full committee and convened hearings himself. When asked why he didn’t, his response was, “I can’t comment on specifics.”

The specifics, however, are about how once again Rep. Adam Schiff is deliberately misrepresenting intelligence information for his own political gain. His latest demands are that the Trump administration brief the entire Congress about the unverified allegations—even though Schiff himself never asked for a briefing for his committee.

If there ever was a Snidely Whiplash character in politics, it has to be the craven, wild-eyed Adam Schiff. He seems to be driven by a visceral hatred of President Trump. The latest allegation where he (Schiff) did exactly what he is accusing the President of is one more brick in the wall that shields Schiff from the unpleasant reality of the truth.

As Schiff loses another round with the truth, he simply says, “Curses. Foiled again,” and he moves on to his next attempt to turn all of America against President Trump.

Schiff’s one fallback position was his acknowledgment that the President was never briefed on the alleged intelligence. That was after President Trump’s press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, however, fired back at the original fake news report by the New York Times. She confirmed that “neither the President nor the Vice President were briefed on the alleged Russian bounty intelligence.”

However, she added, “This does not speak to the merit of the alleged intelligence but to the inaccuracy of the New York Times story erroneously suggesting that President Trump was briefed on this matter.”

Like teenagers caught in a lie, Schiff and his Democrat cronies retreated into the protection of the herd. They tried to shift the blame to the intelligence community. Why didn’t intelligence experts brief the President? Was it because briefers didn’t want to tell the boss what he didn’t want to hear? Shouldn’t the President have known all that stuff, even if it were not credible or corroborated?

When pressed again on why Schiff and his friends didn’t step up and protect the troops, their answer was…you guessed it…”I can’t comment on specifics,”—which is politician talk for “I don’t want to talk about that. Answering that will make me look bad. Let’s move on, please.”
