Phase Out of COVID-19 Task Force Met with Predictable Whining from Democrats

President Trump has plans to wind down the coronavirus task force. Again, no matter what this President does, the whining Democrat swamp establishment disagrees, complains, and calls him a xenophobic racist. So, they have begun ginning up their talking points for lazy mainstream reporters to write their hit pieces and ask goofy questions so that President Trump can make them look stupid.

Speaking of stupid, House Democrat Majority Leader Steny Hoyer griped that this is exactly why the House set up its oversite committee as watchdogs on the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s “unthinkable that President Trump would shut down the main task force” while we’re in the middle of a pandemic…It’s a shameful abdication of responsibility.”

You’d think that the Democrats would be happy that the publicity-attracting task force news conferences are going away. They had already asked the media to stop broadcasting President Trump’s daily briefings. A President leading from the front is in stark contrast to a bumbling, weird candidate like Joe Biden.

Of course, Joe could run from the coronavirus and hide in his basement from the truth of his weak campaign, but he can’t hide from his past. Former staffer Tara Reade has vivid memories of Joe’s wandering fingers. Joe and his version of a task force spent the last few weeks dodging the story and making sure there was no record of any complaint in Joe’s archives.

Nothing to see here, said Joe. And, no, no one can look at those records, because, uh, there’s nothing there, you know. (Well, maybe a mention or two about how he helped son Hunter—legally, of course. But there’s no reason to go there.)

The Democrats appear to be on the verge of an impeachment reprise. They have even come up with another whistleblower, Dr. Rick Bright, a top-echelon official in the Health and Human Services Department. His main complaints boil down to claims that no one would listen to him.

Dr. Bright’s lawyers report that he will testify before a House committee on May 14. California Democrat Rep. Anna Eshoo piped in with this observation, “[The complaint] raises serious concerns about the Administration’s COVID-19 response including alleged gross mismanagement, waste of funds, abuse of authority, and scientific censorship.” This, of course, “deserves examination.”

Of course it does. And when the Democrats try to stage a comeback, the smart money is on the good guys like Mike Pence. Remember that democrats are on the record actually praising President Trump’s response, coordination, and leadership.

President Trump knows that it is time to move past locking down the American economy and the restoring the livelihoods of our workers. He had the common sense to be an early advocate of moving out of the lockdown phase to a sensible restart. One scientist, Nobel Prize winner Michael Levitt agrees that the coronavirus has had a predictable course, and government intervention has from the start been irrelevant factor.

What the Democrats know is that the devastating economic impact of the pandemic is their last best hope of defeating President Trump. They hate Donald Trump so deeply that they will do anything to further tank the economy, keep unemployment high, increase dependency on the government, and promote dissention and dissatisfaction.

That’s what socialists and their useful-idiot Democrats depend on. A contented, affluent electorate isn’t what they are after. It’s about dependency and keeping as many victims out there to keep them in power.

President Trump is a mortal threat to their power, and they won’t relent until most Americans wise up and send Nancy Pelosi back to her crap-infested San Francisco home.
