A Crisis of Leadership: Sleazy Joe Hiding from Virus

Political pundits believe the Democratic party’s front runner’s largest problem will be overcoming monikers such as “Sleepy Joe” and “Sleazy Joe.” That’s because these nicknames point to critical deficiencies Biden brings to the political table.

His lack of follow-through, stamina, and focus earned him the “Sleepy Joe” nickname from President Trump. But “Sleazy Joe” has been accused and caught on video touching fondling, and groping women in obvious unwelcome fashions.

As the primaries wind down and the Obama-era number two officially takes his place as the party’s nominee it becomes obvious that Biden’s biggest problem remains his complete and utter incompetence. Case in point: his lack of leadership during this crisis.

At this point, even Democrats are asking, “Where is Joe Biden?”

During a puff interview with Jake Tapper on CNN, Biden routinely breaks with the CDC protocol and coughs abruptly right into his hand. This practice has been strictly forbidden in terms of defeating the COVID-19 virus spread. Mouth-to-hand contact causes the deadly virus to spread between people and onto hard surfaces where it can infect others for up to three days. The exchange between the two highlights Biden’s mental dysfunction.

“Excuse me,” Tapper reportedly said. “You know, you’re supposed to cough into your elbow… I learned that actually covering your White House.”

“No, actually, that’s true, but fortunately, I’m alone in my home,” Biden reportedly said. “But that’s okay. I agree, you’re right.”

“It’s kind of old school to do it with your hand. Do it into your elbow, you’re supposed to do it,” Tapper reminded Biden.

What truly adds definition to Biden’s lack of understanding about, basically anything important, is that he was doling out COVID-19 advice during the wide-ranging interview. It seems that even the most far-left political activist on television have had it up to their eyeballs with Obama’s flunky.

Biden’s strategy appears to be to maintain a connection with the voting public by inserting himself via video conferencing and YouTube while he cowers. Former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg tried a similar strategy. After dumping upwards of $700 million in ad buys and rarely peaking over a podium, the anti-gun zealot quit. Not showing up for a series of debates, public appearances, and hiding from the pandemic that the rest of America faces is the coward’s way out.

With all his miscues, brain freezes, and questions about the Obama-Biden administration failing to replenish the nation’s stockpile of protective masks, he’s now afraid to meet Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in a one-on-one debate.

“I think we’ve had enough debates. I think we should get on with this,” Biden reportedly told reporters.

Get on with what, exactly? Senator Sanders may not be the front runner, but he certainly plans on finishing the campaign. Even though “Crazy” Bernie’s socialist ideas may run contrary to our Democracy in many ways, at least the man is no quitter. Such cannot be said of Biden, who wants to call the game on account of rain while holding an umbrella.

But the far-left media has not given up hope that the disoriented speeches and failed leadership of the past will prevent Biden from ousting President Trump in the November election. NPR, for example, covers Biden’s online bungling as if he were somehow cool and trendy.

“The coronavirus outbreak has forced the 77-year-old Biden and his campaign to urgently reckon with a new reality in which the internet is the main campaign battlefield — a place where they have often been outdone by rivals, but where voters are currently very much a captive audience,” NPR stated.

Everyday Americans see through the fluffy words. Biden doesn’t have a problem because he is “Sleepy” or “Sleazy.” His problem is he is hiding while our Commander-in-Chief battles the greatest health and economic challenge of our lifetime.
