In their bloodlust to undo the 2016 election results, California Rep. Adam Schiff and other Democrats on the Intelligence Committee have subpoenaed a parade of current and former Trump Administration officials to drive their impeachment narrative. But the testimony strong-armed by impeachment-bent Democrats has resulted in President Trump declaring victory over liberal insurgents once again.
“I just noticed one thing, and that would mean it’s all over,” President Trump told reporters as he walked to his waiting helicopter on his way out of town for a meeting.
Recent testimony centered on Ambassador to the European Union Gordan Sondland, who was briefly in the loop regarding communications between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. Like the Obama-Biden administration, President Trump had put U.S. aid on hold as concerns about corruption and other issues were ironed out. But unlike Obama’s number two, President Trump was not asking for a quid pro quo, or money for favors in laymen’s terms. Ex-Vice President Joe Biden demanded Ukraine fire its top prosecutor who had Burisma, a corrupt energy company his son, Hunter Biden, sat on the board of, under investigation.
“Clearly, it’s an appearance of a conflict (of interest),” Ambassador Sondland stated in reference to a question from Rep. Elise Stefanik about Hunter Biden’s position on the board.
“And yet we are not allowed to call Hunter Biden to answer questions,” Stefanik reportedly said.
Although some White House officials were concerned the president sought to re-open the Biden-related corruption in exchange for releasing military aid, Ambassador Sondland discovered in a brief conversation that was not the case. His testimony demonstrates that President Trump never requested any preconditions to release American resources and support to defend against another Russian invasion.
From the White House lawn, President Trump called out the media and the reporters who stood before him who have so far refused to publish testimony that proves without a doubt the Impeachment inquiry is DOA. The president read to the reporters a transcript that indicated Ambassador Sondland had heard unsubstantiated rumors that many falsely believed the fact-finding attempts to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden’s influence peddling and coercion were tied to release of the aid to Ukraine. The brief exchange corrected those assumptions for the EU ambassador. The U.S. military aid was released without preconditions.
“What do you want from Ukraine? What do you want from Ukraine? I keep hearing all of these different ideas and theories. It was a very short, abrupt conversation,” Sondland told the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday. “(President Trump) was not in a good mood. And he just said, ‘I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. Tell Zelensky to do the right thing.’ Something to that effect.”
Despite the fact that credible information once again exonerates President Trump of any wrongdoing, Rep. Schiff continues to falsely claim a quid pro quo existed. His select quotes in theatrical closing statements often take answers out of context referring to unsupported rumors and misunderstandings. It certainly may be true that the president was concerned about the unethical if not potentially criminal misconduct by the former vice president and his son who pocketed upwards of $3.1 million.
“Mr. Sondland, let’s be clear,” Rep. Mike Turner reportedly asked. “No one on this planet — not Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Mick Mulvaney, Mike Pompeo — no one told you aid was tied to political investigations, is that correct.”
“That’s correct,” Ambassador Sondland responded under oath.
Stick a fork in the Impeachment Hoax, it’s done.
