A Democrats Congresswoman is reportedly orchestrating a fraud on the American people by coaching migrants to mislead U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials in an effort to sidestep the “Remain in Mexico” policy.
Under the bilateral Migrant Protection Protocols agreement, commonly referred to as “Remain in Mexico”, illegal aliens must remain in Mexico until a federal judge renders a decision on their asylum application.
The backlogged process can take upwards of five years, and few asylum applicants meet the specific criteria under federal law.
Texas Democratic Rep. Veronica Escobar and her staff members traveled into Mexico and instructed the just deported illegals to lie about their ability to speak Spanish to exploit a loophole in the Trump Administration’s Remain in Mexico policy, thus allowing them to come back to the U.S legally.
The Remain in Mexico policy criteria states that illegal aliens returned to Mexico must be fluent in Spanish. Rep. Escobar’s staffers have reportedly traveled to migrant strongholds south of the border and are telling them to return to ports of entry and lie about their Spanish fluency.
According to reports from Custom and Border Patrol (CPB) officials, rank and file officers are encountering people who have already presented themselves as fluent in Spanish, now claiming they do not speak their native language.
“What we’re hearing from management is that they’re attempting to return people, and the story was changed in Mexico, where a person who understood Spanish before now doesn’t understand — where a person who didn’t have any health issues before now has health issues,” a CPB union representative reportedly said.
This blatant fraud being perpetrated on the Department of Homeland Security and its sub-agencies is yet another example that elected Democrat officials have embraced the same level of lawlessness as their affiliated Antifa street gangs.
According to sources close to the border crisis, Escobar’s staff members are actively seeking out illegal aliens who have been correctly received, processed and returned to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to await a decision.
CBP officials appear frustrated the Congresswoman is also trying to level false accusations that migrants are being wrongfully returned to Mexico. The false narrative is surfacing that CBP officials sent migrants back to Mexico who were non-Spanish speakers or who were disabled.
“They went through and interviewed everybody, cherry-picked them, brought them back, and now are using them as tag lines. They’re going over there and manufacturing a lot of these issues,” a CBP official reportedly said.
A stunning 6,000 illegal aliens have reportedly been interviewed by Escobar’s team and coached on ways to exploit criteria meant to enhance compassion in the federal law and Trump Administration policies.
“We had finally found a happy medium ‘cause we always get crapped on when it comes to immigration laws, and then they’re finding loopholes to bring them back,” a CPB official reportedly said.
A former federal judge agrees with CBP officials’ assessment that Escobar is creating a fake new narrative.
“She’s trying to, obviously, say these people have been wrongly denied their claims, and they’re waiting when they shouldn’t,” former federal immigration judge Mark. H. Metcalf reportedly said.
The former judge also indicated that criminal charges could be brought against Escobar for perpetrating a fraud against the federal government. If evidence is secured that false statements have been prompted or coached, the liberal Democrat could face jail time.
Department of Homeland Security officials have gone on the record stating they are aware Democrats are angry these migrants are not being allowed entry into the U.S. where they can disappear into the population.
“By opposing a system that assists migrants and speeds wait times, these individuals are exposing a cause that looks more like a cover story for their political motivations,” a Homeland Security official reportedly texted. “Any efforts to subvert and obstruct federal law enforcement operations should receive full review.”
In a one telling example, an Escobar staffer and a church official escorted a migrant to a port demanding he be given entry. The Escobar official reportedly claimed the minor suffered from “cognitive disorders.”
After the teen was referred to CBP agents for processing, a privacy release form was discovered bearing the U.S. House of Representatives seal. The form was a misstep by staffers that uncovered their potentially criminal coaching of migrants.
“Management saw that form and was like, ‘What is this?’ and reached out to our International Liaison Unit,” a CBP official reportedly said. “And ILU said, ‘Yes, Veronica Escobar and several other politicians are in Mexico trying to defeat the MPP program.’”
The teen in question was diagnosed by U.S. medical professionals who determined the cognitive disorder claim was phony.
