Hate-spewing Trinity College Professor Johnny Eric Williams is up to his old tricks again. The far-left educator, who once condoned letting white people die if they required emergency assistance, apparently thinks “whiteness is terrorism.” The Professor of sociology posted a tweet expressing this sentiment on April 28, 2019 according to Campus Reform.
Williams has conveniently since made his Twitter account private. However, The Hartford Courant reportedly has a record of his inflammatory remarks. Trinity College, located in Hartford, Connecticut, has previously placed the Professor on leave for making offensive comments on his social media platforms.
In this latest incident of blatant, outrageous racism, Williams tweeted, “All self-identified white people (no exceptions) are invested in and collude with systemic white racism/white supremacy.”
Surprisingly, Williams didn’t just target white people this time. The Hartford Courant revealed the Professor also wrote, “I’m referring to [Candace Owens] and other less brazen but more insidious dangerous ‘white’ kneegrows like Barry and Michelle Obama and many other white kneegrows you encounter daily.”
In 2017, Williams took heat for sharing a Medium post on Facebook that called for first responders to let white individuals die simply due to the color of their skin. According to TheBlaze, Williams shared the post mere days after a leftist gunman shot at more than a dozen Republican lawmakers on a Virginia baseball field. During the unspeakable crime, House of Representatives Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Republican – Louisiana, was shot and seriously injured.
Referring to white people, the post read, “If you see them drowning. If you see them in a burning building. If they are bleeding out in an emergency room. If the ground is crumbling beneath them. If they are in a park and they turn their weapons on each other: do nothing…Least of all put your life on the line for theirs, and do not dare think doing so, putting your life on the line for theirs, gives you reason to feel celestial. Save the life of those that would kill you is the opposite of virtuous.”
After including an expletive filled phrase calling for first responders to let white people die, the post concluded with, “And smile a bit when you do.”
Along with the link to the Medium post, Williams wrote in part, “It is past time for the racially oppressed to do what people who believe themselves to be ‘white’ will not do, put end to the vectors of their destructive mythology of whiteness and their white supremacy system.”
Campus Reform interviewed a member of Trinity College’s College Republicans regarding Williams’ latest offensive comments. The unnamed student stated, “Everyone really questions, even liberals, why is he still here? I think that’s kind of a question a lot of people are asking is, he advocated for white genocide, why is he still here?”
The College Republicans member went on to say, “I think if you ask anyone on campus that is not as radical as he is, they will be like ‘He needs to go,’ which is interesting because at Trinity College, most students are pretty apathetic toward really everything, so to have such a high defensive that an individual needs to go, that really says something.”
This individual remarked that the Professor’s “behavior is horrible” and said Williams “needs to be checked by the administration.” The student revealed they have taken one of Williams’ courses in the past.
According to TheBlaze, the College Republicans member maintained that “Williams is known for failing students for no reason and requiring students to sign a waiver stating they may not discuss or email about what is said in class.”
Joanne Berger-Sweeney, Trinity College President, shared with Campus Reform that it’s vital to foster debate where “controversial” speech is concerned. Berger-Sweeney commented, “Trinity College supports academic freedom and free expression and inquiry, which are hallmarks of academia and democratic society. When speech proves controversial, our responsibility as educators is to promote more debate and discussion, not less. Twitter is a challenging place for a thoughtful discourse, which is clear from this example.”
Williams’ continued displays of hatred towards others who don’t look like him are irreprehensible. It’s past time for parents to quit paying thousands of dollars for their children to be indoctrinated by liberal, out-of-bounds professors like him.
